The lower arm is considered the load carrier of the front end. The lower bushings in the arm have a tendency to wear out sooner then the upper bushings because of the increased loads they must bare. As the bushings wear the alignment and handling will change and tire wear will result. The Global West lower arms are engineered to increase the load capacity. The bushing surface area and shaft dimensions are extended to provide greater load capacity. The arm uses Del-a-lum bushings that can handle this type of load. Special billet cross-shafts as stated are furnished with new hardware. The arms are pre-assembled with ball joints, bump stops, and spring cushions. The spring cushions are used to index the coil spring properly in the frame and control arm. The lower is also engineered to convert over to a coilover shock and spring combination. The mount where the coilover would mount to is already built up to handle the load. Coilover shock and spring combinations are available on this page.
