1963-82 Corvette Adjustable Strut Rods

Adjustable strut rods make achieving proper camber and maintaining it a much easier job. The factory strut rods use rubber bushings in the ends of them that basically resist movement. So as the suspension moves through its travel, a twisting load is generated on the eccentric bolt (inner bolt where the alignment is adjusted). Over time it is not uncommon for the bolt to eventually allow the strut rod to shift. The shift throws your alignment out. Adjustable strut rods remove the twisting loads placed on the bolt because spherical rod ends are used in place of rubber. The kit also uses a Locout plate that indexes on the rear end mount that will not allow slippage. The locout plate has multi holes positioned in it so any camber alignment setting desired can be achieved.
