1964-66 Mustang Front Coil Over Kit with Non-Adjustable Shocks (Negetive Roll)

Get the newest in high performance suspension from Global West Suspension. This coil over is a complete package with some well thought out bonus pieces. For starters the front lower control arm is converted to an A-arm eliminating the use of the strut rod for alignment purposes, although there is some adjustment required. The adjuster on the lower control arm is to insure the installer has the lower A-arm in the center of the frame and bind free. The lower control arm comes fully assembled with a high quality spherical rod end on the strut rod side, and a spherical bearing pressed into the arm on the frame side, low friction ball joints, and are powder coated black. Lastly the lower control arm relocates the sway bar to the bottom side of the arm and attaches with a zero bind end link assembly.

The upper control arms are much different then stock and utilize a lower mounting point on the tower, so some drilling needs to be done. There is three degrees of caster built in to the control arms for straight line stability, which also gives you better tire wear. The arms are also designed with a different camber curve that plants the tire when cornering, allowing the maximum amount of tire patch to contact the ground. This gives the car a sporty feel and is capable of handling the toughest drivers. These upper control arms are made of DOM tubing and are TIG welded for superior strength and durability. They’ll come fully assembled with new ball joints and Del-a-lum bushings.

The shock assembly is mounted by a bolt in aluminum upper shock mount located at the top of the tower, some grinding to the spring index tabs might have to be done to get the mount to sit flat in the upper pocket, but is very easy to install. From there the shock mount through the upper control arm and bolts to the lower A-arm, giving you a long shock, for optimum travel and up to 3” down in ride height. Another well thought of piece is the tubular bump stop allowing for more suspension travel. The tubular bump stop also acts as a tower stiffener and is lighter then stock.

Parts list: • Upper control arms • Lower A-arms • Coil-over shock assembly • Upper shock mounts • 1 1/8” tubular sway bar • Tubular bump stops (inner fender brace) • All mounting hardware

Note: Comes standard with 300 or 350 rate springs. Softer and stiffer rated springs are avalible... Call for rates!
