These bushings are far superior to other aftermarket bushings, like polyurethane or stock type rubber. These bushings rotate on six different surfaces and are completely lube able. The bushing eliminates deflection and keeps allows for zero bind. These bushings press in to the stock control arm with no modifications, and work well for all types of driving: street performance, race and drag. This bushing kit converts your stock cross, which has a bolt at the end, into a stud type cross shaft. The stud type cross shaft allows you to use the Del-a-lum bushings because they need to torque to a specific spec, and then cotter pined. If the stock type bolt is used the bolt will back out causing the bushing assembly to fall apart. The studs provided in to kit have a machined centering pin and then must be welded in place.
